To solve the problem of keylogging why is encryption algorithm not?
May be because of following reasons:-1.The process of keyboard input in any operating system is complex, and its possible to install a hook at any stage. Keyloggers have already been created for some of the stages, while for some they do not yet exist. So if we bound to insert hook at driver the can found another alternative. 2. Don't you think it will slow each & every operations carried by keyboard & in-turn harm the hardware developing companies who are in constant race of increasing clock cycle & flip flop speed to get more & more speed. 3. Most importantly keylogger is being installed by the administrative privileged & hence it is also an application in itself, so if it passes the encrypted data to its own application, OS is abide to decrypt input for that application also.
